Streamside Cottage

This streamside, in-town crafts cottage was the perfect locale for this young family, but it needed some growing room. Working closely with the clients, we took cues from the house's original design conventions and the owners' tastes in Americana, adding 800 square feet of new living space. Upstairs we added a master bedroom and a playful child's bedroom. Downstairs, we renovated the kitchen and added a sunlit living room/dining room with richly textured plasters. The bathroom features a vintage claw foot tub.
